Service Engineer (Metrology)

Responsibilities:

• Offer technical assistance to clients, which includes demonstrations, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of Metrology Measuring Instruments.

• Provide training and post-sale support for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.

• Address customer inquiries and implement corrective measures within the specified timeframe.

• Work closely with clients, distributors, sales teams, and internal staff to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.

• Generate precise service reports and quotes for customers.

• Recognize and engage in sales opportunities, including new contracts, renewals, or system enhancements.

   

 Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent. However, candidates with hands-on working experience in the Metrology or Quality Control field are also encouraged to apply.
• At least 01 year(s) of working experience in the Metrology industry is an added advantage but Fresh graduates with a good mindset and attitude are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Able to communicate in Japanese will be an added advantage although not compulsory as opportunity to learn will be provided upon confirmation.
